Want to create a sell-out event? Sometimes, one size doesn’t fit all!
In this series I will be sharing some useful tips for creating your event on Get Invited to help make it a sell out! Last week I covered the event title and description, this week I want to focus on offering different ticket categories to your attendees.
Here, you have the option of choosing how many tickets you want to sell, and their price. If you only want to create one ticket option, that’s OK, as it can be easily created in the setup. However, you may wish to create some additional tickets for your guests.
Here are some examples:
Early bird: This is a great way to reward early buyers and create a little intrigue around your event. Having early sales coming in is also good for your peace of mind.
Note: We can pay out as early as 7 days after the first transaction so you can invest back in your event marketing.
Student: Want some of the future innovators to attend your event? Having students at your event can be a great way to include some fresh thinking. But not if they can’t even afford to attend. Remember what it was like when you were a student and offer special pricing that you can send out through the local universities and colleges.
Member: If you are a membership organisation, then why not offer members and non-member separate ticket pricing. This will reward existing members, and give others a taste of your organisation.
Note: You can pre-determine the available quantity of these tickets so that you can limit the amount of discount tickets that are sold.
Whatever ticket type you decide to go for is up to you, you can be as creative as you like, so have some fun with it and create something you think your guests would enjoy!
