Aspiring entrepreneurs in the Hair & Beauty sector will hear from local businesses speakers who will give an informative session on their own personal entrepreneurial journey, their challenges, key areas of support available and what is so important when seeking employees.
This session will help students to understand what skills they will need to make it in the hair and beauty industry and how they can overcome their doubts and enter the sector.

Lee Gray – Lee started his L2 Hairdressing in 2005 in Strabane Campus when it first opened to Hairdressing and completed L2 in Barbering. Lee went on and progressed to L3 Hairdressing and worked in various Salons before opening up his own salon 2 years ago here in Strabane in Main Street – Vanity Hair & Beauty.
Anita Mc Gowan – Anita enrolled on the L2 Beauty Therapy in Strand Road 11 years ago and then progressed onto L3 Beauty. Anita is originally from England but now resides in Sion Mills. Anita opened up in her own house 10 years ago and worked her way through to opening in Park Road in Strabane 9 years ago.
Paul Rafferty – Paul works in Derry & Strabane District Council as an Environmental Health Officer and his work includes promoting health, safety and wellbeing across the community, within a range of settings, including places of education.
