About the Event

Cynhelir y seminar hon ar y cyd ag Academi Cymru ac mewn partneriaeth â Cydffederasiwn y GIG yng Nghymru, Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru, Cyngor Gweithredu Gwirfoddol Cymru, Cymdeithas Llywodraeth Leol Cymru, Swyddfa Comisiynydd Cenedlaethau'r Dyfodol Cymru ac Arfer Da Cymru.

Cydnabyddir yn eang na ellir parhau i gyflenwi gwasanaethau cyhoeddus drwy ddefnyddio dull seilo traddodiadol. Felly, mae troi ar weithio mewn partneriaeth o ran gwasanaethau cyhoeddus a dinasyddion yn anochel.

Er bod egwyddorion cyffredinol a gydnabyddir yn eang yn gysylltiedig â gweithio mewn partneriaeth, mewn gwirionedd, mae nifer o ffyrdd gwahanol o gyflenwi gwasanaethau rhwng cyrff statudol ac anstatudol.

Credwn yn gryf os ydych am fynd yn gyflym, ewch ati ar eich pen eich hun ond os ydych am fynd yn bell, ewch ati gydag eraill.' Fodd bynnag, rydym yn cydnabod nad yw gweithio mewn partneriaeth bob amser yn hawdd.

Fel y gŵyr pob un ohonom, mae heriau cynhenid yn gysylltiedig â gweithio mewn partneriaeth, ond mae hefyd o fudd enfawr i'r unigolyn y mae angen y gwasanaeth hwnnw arno. Yn y pen draw, mae'n annhebygol y bydd yr unigolyn y mae angen y gwasanaeth arno yn poeni am y rhwystrau a phwy sy'n cyflenwi'r gwasanaeth, cyhyd ag y caiff ei anghenion eu diwallu.

Bydd y seminar hon yn canolbwyntio ar 'ddal y drych i fyny' fel y gellir sicrhau bod y gwaith o gynllunio a chyflenwi gwasanaeth yn canolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn, ni waeth pwy sy'n cyflenwi'r gwasanaeth.

-----------------------------------------

This seminar is being jointly delivered with Academi Wales and in partnership with Welsh NHS Confederation, Social Care Wales, WCVA, WLGA, the Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales and Good Practice Wales.

It is widely recognised that public services cannot continue to be delivered in a traditional silo approach. Therefore, the sway towards a partnership approach of public services and citizens is inevitable.

Whilst there are widely acknowledged general principles of working in partnership. In reality, there are a number of different ways of delivering services between statutory and non-statutory bodies.

We fully subscribe to the maxim of ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go further, go with others’. However, we acknowledge that partnership is not always easy.

Partnership working as we all know brings with it inherent challenges but it also brings huge benefits to the individual needing that service. At the end of the day, the individual needing the service is unlikely to care about the barriers and who delivers the service as long as their needs are met.

This seminar will focus on ‘holding up the mirror’ so that the design and delivery of a service is focused on the individual, irrespective of who is actually delivering the service.

Who the seminar is for

This seminar is aimed at senior leaders in health, local government, social services, third sector bodies, voluntary bodies, charities, social enterprises, police, fire and rescue, devolved bodies, housing associations, PSBs, community health councils and regional boards who are:

  • Chairs
  • Chief executives
  • Non executives
