Ulster University Food and Consumer Testing Suite (FACTS) invite you to an afternoon event to explore the various routes to market for food and drink products - from how to get on to the retailers shelves to selling direct online and exporting.
Speakers include M&S Product Development, Online and Export Specialists and BBC Radio Ulster’s Kim Lenaghan.
Topics covered will include:
- What major retailers look for/How to get your product on their shelves
- How to sell your product online and use social media to increase sales
- Product testing and tasting for the export market
- How to expand your product range
- Future trends in food and drink markets
- Funding for food/drinks industry and one to one social media mentoring
The event will be followed by networking and a chance to sample locally produced food and drink and there will be an opportunity to meet with the speakers and network with other suppliers/producers.
You will be able to discuss any support or funding requirements you may have and find out how to access Ulster University's facilities, equipment or expertise you may need including on-line, social media or one to one mentoring.
Registrations: 1.00pm - 1.30pm
Presentations: 1.30pm - 4.00pm
Networking/refreshments: 4.00pm - 5.00pm
