Were you glued to your screen during Apple's recent livestream that launched the Apple Watch? This was only the latest in a fast-expanding pool of wearable devices that will one day topple the smartphone off its pedestal (our prediction here at MoMo). Are you ready to leverage the opportunities offered by this nascent market, with apps, platforms, APIs? Some local companies (in NI) already are, so we've asked some inspiring folks to tell us what they're doing in this new eco-system, and how they work with smart clothes, watches, glasses etc.
Our event is kindly sponsored by Intel Services (ex-Aepona): "We deliver the API management and software platforms to make the connections that share information and intelligence across people and devices. Everything Connects."
This is a free but ticketed event, you will need a ticket to gain entry to the secure site, so if you would like to join us, register well in advance (Get Your Tickets at bottom of page, do enter name and surname for security purposes). On the evening of the event, there's a covered, secured bike shed (ask us for the code to the lock), you can also walk from the Cathedral Quarter (10 min.), use bus nr. 61 (Queen St.-Carr's Glen line, stop at GarmoyleStreet/Clarendon Dock) or if you cant do without the car, use one of 16 car spaces (1st come-1st serve) at the main entrance off Corporation Street. There is also public car park on Corporation Street.
5:30-6:15pm: Networking (free pizza and drinks by Intel)
6:15-7:15pm: Inspiration (4 speakers, see below)
7:15-7:45pm: Education (Panel Q&A, see below)
