About the Event

Jack Pearce (1942 – 2016), was Professor of food science at Queen’s University, a past President of the IFST and a member of the team handling radiological food safety in the aftermath of Chernobyl. Dr Andrew Cannavan led the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Food Safety Assessment Team in Fukushima after the nuclear disaster and works closely with the Queen’s University Institute for Global Food Security.
