About the Event
As part of the redevelopment of Hillsborough Castle, Historic Royal Palaces have undertaken a major programme of works that will see the historic estate transformed into a key visitor attraction in 2019.
The redevelopment of Hillsborough Castle consists of several key projects within the 100-acre estate, including the construction of new visitor facilities, a new educational centre, as well as the reinstatement of the historic walled garden and other landscape features.
Early career architect James Grieve from Consarc Design Group will lead a tour highlighting the works to date, focusing on the technical aspects of the construction of the new build visitor centre, and material specification within the listed estate.
