5 Exciting Themes for Corporate Events

Choosing the right theme sets the tone for your corporate event. Make it interesting, edgy and of course, fun, and attendees will be signing up in droves!

Business Bake Off

This one taps into the current trend for all things baking-related. Following a short demonstration, participants would work in teams to bake and decorate anything from bread, cakes, to pastry or biscuits. Just like the television show, there should be three rounds, a judge who is not afraid to point out ‘soggy bottoms’ and some ‘helpful’ assistants to lighten the mood!

Back to the Future

We think that setting this corporate event in the 1950s makes sense, so the connection with the movie is crystal clear, but of course you can choose any era that you like. In terms of decor, you can decorate the venue using brightly coloured furniture and create break-out rooms using screens. Pastel coloured formica dining ware and retro food will also help to set the scene. A Buddy Holly tribute band would really make the evening entertainment go with a swing!

Survival of the Fittest

A good old fashioned spell in the wilderness is guaranteed to get attendees to bond. Participants should work together on challenges that promote communication, lateral thinking, and leadership skills. If there’s an overnight stay, we recommend choosing an ultra-luxurious hotel with spa to allow attendees to relax in style!

Get Building

We’ve taken Lego as the inspiration for this theme. This would be perfect for professionals who are looking to build relationships within the team. Having a bucket of Lego on each table, using primary colours to decorate the venue, and having a supply for hard hats and construction clothing would make this truly memorable. If practical, why not host this corporate event at Legoland?

Viva España!

A Spanish-themed corporate entertainment package should bring participants out of their shells. Memorable activities include Flamenco dancing (followed by a dance off) and stilt-walking. If you serve tapas and churros, guests will be encouraged to get to know one another, as well as enjoying some tasty food! Entertainment during the evening could be provided by a classical guitar group, making for a relaxing, convivial atmosphere.
